Nothing's Ugly In British Columbia

Alberta was not looking it's best during our time there.  The weather was gray, rainy, and cloudy, and the towns were so full of Asian tourists, we were relegated to a dingy truck stop.  The truck stop had mountain views, but a truck stop's a truck stop.

British Columbia however put on a show for us.

High on a hill was a lonely goatherd
Lay ee odl lay ee odl lay hee hoo

And we got to ride on boats!  A good portion of the province is a series of north-south rivers and lakes that divide the dry land into slivers.  Ferries allow motorists to hop from sliver to sliver.

Southern BC is fruit orchards and wine country.  IM Canada happens only a few valleys over.
